Presidente de la Concesionaria del Club Universidad de Chile, S:A. Azul Azul, dijo que los diputados que aprobaron el proyecto que regula la violencia en los estadios, son “una manga de pelotudos”. Diputado Walker pidió que la Cámara envíe queja formal y exija disculpas públicas.
Como “graves insultos” y “una muestra de prepotencia y soberbia” calificó hoy el diputado DC Matías Walker, las declaraciones del Presidente del Club de la Universidad de Chile, y Rector de la Universidad del Desarrollo, Federico Valdés, quien formuló duras declaraciones en contra de los diputados que aprobaron el proyecto que establece nuevas normas para combatir la violencia en los estadios.
Walker, utilizando el artículo 34 del Reglamento de la Cámara de Diputados, solicitó que la Corporación exprese ante la concesionaria Azul Azul S.A., y ante los directores de dicha sociedad anónima que la integran en representación de la Universidad de Chile, una queja formal por dichas declaraciones, “exigiendo una clara disculpa pública, dirigida a la Cámara de Diputados de Chile”. Por unanimidad, los diputados aprobaron el envío de esta queja.
El parlamentario, al intervenir en la Sala, señaló que “en entrevista dada al Diario el Mercurio, con fecha 22 de enero del presente, y ante una pregunta formulada por el periodista de la sección deportes en relación a la responsabilidad que cabe a los dirigentes de organizaciones deportivas por los daños que puedan ocasionar las barras ligadas a sus instituciones, establecida en dicho proyecto, aprobado por 98 diputados de esta Corporación, el señor Valdés respondió, comillas: “Es que son una manga de pelotudos”.
Walker agregó que “las expresiones del señor Valdés, y el lenguaje utilizado, constituyen un hecho de la mayor gravedad. No solamente constituyen una ofensa contra los diputados que dieron su aprobación a este proyecto y a los miembros de las comisiones unidas de Seguridad Ciudadana y Deportes que durante meses trabajamos por perfeccionar la actual ley de violencia en los estadios, sino que constituyen una afrenta contra toda esta Corporación y ante el Congreso Nacional como poder del Estado.”
El diputado DC agregó que “los dichos de Federico Valdés son aún más graves, proviniendo del rector de una Universidad y de un Presidente de una sociedad anónima concesionaria de una Corporación que lleva el nombre de la propia Universidad de Chile.”
Finalmente, Walker señaló que “sólo resta decirle al señor Valdés que la prepotencia y soberbia de sus expresiones, lejos de doblegarnos, nos servirán de estímulo para seguir trabajando en sacar a la luz pública y sancionar los oscuros vínculos existentes entre algunos dirigentes del futbol nacional y personas que han logrado un liderazgo al interior de las barras bravas sobre la base de generar temor y ejercer la violencia al interior de los recintos deportivos.
