Jefe de la Bancada de diputados DC, Aldo Cornejo, pidió al Ministro del Interior “instruir a Carabineros para evitar “hostigamientos, represiones y violencia en contra de los estudiantes universitarios que se manifestarán mañana”.

Un categórico emplazamiento al Ministro del Interior efectuó hoy, desde la Cámara de Diputados, el jefe de la bancada DC, diputado Aldo Cornejo , para “que adopte todas las medidas respectivas, instruyendo directamente a Carabineros, de tal forma que no se vuelvan a repetir los hechos de violencia excesiva, por parte de Carabineros, en contra de los manifestantes. La manifestación está autorizada y exigimos que el Gobierno se responsabilice y cautele el respeto al derecho de reunión y expresión”.

Cornejo agregó que “la masiva detención ilegal de decenas de personas el pasado lunes no puede volver a repetirse; fue el poder judicial el que determinó que hubo hostigamiento de parte de los funcionarios policiales. Por lo anterior, emplazamos al Gobierno a asumir su responsabilidad; de lo contrario, estudiaremos todas las acciones legales y políticas que correspondan, siendo el Ministro Hinzpeter el principal responsable”.

El titular de la Bancada señaló, finalmente, que “mañana, legítimamente, miles de estudiantes universitarios se movilizarán reclamando porque el Ministerio de Educación no resuelve los problemas de la educación superior ni de los estudiantes y sus familias que deben sobre endeudarse para acceder a la educación Universitaria, observándose una clara y preocupante ausencia de una política de desarrollo de educación superior.”
